Join

There are both in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) requirements for joining Pox. Our goal is to ensure people who look to join Pox do so understanding where our focus is, so everyone — current members and new members — are happy wearing the Dueling Serpents.

First and foremost, Pox is and will always be a role-playing guild. While everyone in Pox enjoys a bit of PvP and a bit of PvE, these aren’t our No. 1 focus. The focus is Role-playing (RP), and if raiding or arena will interfere or diminish RP, it is removed from the schedule until it isn’t.

That said, on an OOC level, we require:

  1. People to be 18 years of age or older
  2. Able to reasonably spell, use grammar, and avoid excess usage of shortcuts (yo ppl, how r u?)
  3. Enjoy the game and enjoy the people in the game

We like to put the focus on friendships and not achievements or gearscore.

On a (mostly) IC level, we require a questionnaire to be filled out.  It consists of several questions that help officers in Pox determine if you are going to fit in here. There’s a few OOC questions at the bottom to help us ensure you will be HAPPY here, because HAPPINESS is what we strive for.
